You will then get an email confirming we have received your Lot registration.

Please provide as much detail as possible, note any defects which may be on the bottle or box and if you wish, you may include any special details to add to your unique lot description.

There’s a £5 + VAT listing fee per bottle and a £5 + VAT Lot reserve fee, should you wish to place one.

We always try to include your bottles in the upcoming auction, but they may go on to the following month's auction if they’re submitted past the entry deadline.

Shipping Your Bottles To Us

There are a number of ways you can get your bottles to us but the preferred way is for you to securely package and arrange shipment by courier (DHLDPD) to:-

Whisky Auction House,

Burnside Business Centre,

Peterhead,

(Please see our FAQ page for suggestions on packaging).

If you are within a 30 mile radius of our Peterhead Office we may be able to collect your bottle (this service will be at Whisky Auction House’s discretion).  You can also drop your bottle/s off to us by prior arrangement, please call or e-mail in advance to make arrangements.

Step 4

Lot Preparation For Auction

Once we receive your bottle(s) we will confirm the quality and condition of the items and if acceptable they can then be listed in an upcoming auction (upcoming auction dates below). We will create a unique lot page containing photographs, clear and accurate lot descriptions, any special facts/info you have provided and any defects noted.  We will then promote our latest auction to a world of whisky collectors and enthusiasts.

During the auction you will be able to track the progress of your lots on your account. We also send out automatic emails when a bid has been placed on your lots.

Reserve

You have the option to set a reserve price on any lot to ensure a minimum hammer price. The reserve fee is £5+VAT. If you place a reserve on a lot and it does not sell, we can either list it in the next auction or arrange for delivery back to yourself (subject to delivery charge). Reserves can be lowered during a live auction in your personal account, this can be done via the 'My Lots' section (reserves cannot be lowered below the current highest bid).

Please be aware that if you place a reserve on your Lot it will be visible to all.
