Other Information

Fable Whisky is an esteemed independent bottler of single cask whisky, renowned for its limited-edition releases from hand-picked casks sourced from Scotland’s lesser-known yet highly acclaimed distilleries. This independent bottler is passionate about creating unique whisky experiences by blending the art of storytelling with the craft of whisky-making. From the outset, Fable Whisky's mission has been to build an adaptable brand that evolves with each new release. Their collaboration with gpstudio led to the creation of a brand that continually captivates consumers by delivering intriguing tales of mystery and imagination. The inaugural release, Volume One, reimagines the Scottish myth of The Ghost Piper of Clanyard Bay through illustrated animations by Hugo Cuellar, accompanied by Jeff Rawle's eerie narration. Each chapter of the myth centers around a distinct character or scene, with every illustration linked to a unique bottle release. These releases feature labels with handwritten title fonts, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to storytelling. Each bottle is meticulously wax-sealed, labeled, and wrapped in paper that unfolds to reveal the full story inside. gpstudio's holistic branding approach includes the design of the bottle wrap, box, neck tags, story insert, social media content, website, limited-edition prints, gift packaging, sampling packaging, and apparel. Fable Whisky also collaborates with ceramicist Bella Jones, who crafts bespoke whisky cups and water jugs from black porcelain inspired by the black rock of Clanyard Bay. These exclusive ceramics are sold alongside Fable’s whisky products, enhancing the overall experience for whisky enthusiasts. With every release, Fable Whisky takes consumers on a journey of excitement and discovery, ensuring that each bottle tells a story worth sharing.
