Description

The Bowmore distillery, located on the island of Islay, has produced an expression that was matured in oak casks for a minimum of 12 years and then bottled at 40% alcohol by volume. This particular screen print version of the expression is no longer available.

Bowmore

Bowmore Distillery was established by David Simpson in 1779 on the Isle of Islay. Situated by the shore of Loch Indaal it is amongst the oldest working distilleries on Islay and one of the oldest malt whisky distilleries in Scotland. Bowmore Distillery continues to produce a proportion of its malted barley on its own traditional malting floors and malt kilns. Bowmore Distillery is a participant in Feis Isle, the Islay Festival of Malt and Music during which highly collectable special bottlings are released.

Standard loss and breakage coverage is available at 3% of the final bid price. Without insurance, no claims for breakage or loss during transit can be made against the courier or Whisky Auction House.
