Kirkcowan was created as a contemporary homage to classic rock and roll. It appeals to those who already know what they like – a full-on flavour, excellent roots and a delivery that hits at every beat.
Vanilla custard, a medley of orchard fruits, banana, honeyed cereals, a hint of cooling mint, and a touch of wood spice compose the profile. Initially thin and oily, the palate soon thickens. The flavor is marked by honeyed cereal, distinct vanilla, a hint of grassiness, ginger, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The finish is brief, dominated by spices, tree bark, cereal, traces of fruit, predominantly banana, and vanilla custard.
