Bladnoch Samsara

Bladnoch Samsara single malt Scotch whisky aged in ex Californian red wine and bourbon casks. A salute to the rebirth of our historic distillery, showing notes of vanilla and fresh citrus on the palate. A tribute to rare, lowland single malt Scotch whisky.

The aroma presents vanilla cream, floral notes, and fresh-cut apples, alongside a fruit compote characterized by plums, vanilla, and orange blossom. The palate offers a sweet, wine-like beginning, which dries slightly before yielding to more flavors of plums and vanilla, complemented by citrus and a malty core. The finish is mellow and winey, with a spicy, lingering tail.
