Wolfburn Morven
Description
This lightly peated whisky is made from malted barley infused with smoke during the drying process. It’s a reflection of history – the original 19th Century distillery was largely fired by peat. Gentle distillation is followed by maturation in Wolfburns purpose-built warehouses. The result is a beautifully smooth and rounded whisky.
Beginning with a smoky essence complemented by fruit and the freshness of sea air, the experience is enhanced by vanilla and oak wood shavings. An abundance of floral notes leads to raisins and a touch of spice. The palate is greeted with malty flavors, culminating in a soft honey sweetness. Gentle peaty notes provide a smooth and enduring finish, making it a delightful experience.
